MPS Charter Schools

The Charter School Conversion of the Lanier High School feeder pattern (Nixon, Davis, Bellingrath and Lanier) has been approved by the state. The Montgomery Education Foundation will be eventually managing those schools. The first school to be converted with be E.D. Nixon. The contract for that conversion will be ready in mid-February. Until the contract is signed, there are several bits of information that are still unknown. As information is made available, it will be added here. 

A series of public meetings will be held to allow parents, employees and community members to ask questions. Meeting dates will be posted here. Also, a Frequently Asked Questions section will be added soon. Please check back for more information.
