Johnnie Carr Middle School Parental Engagement

Parents and families are key to student success. It is our goal to not only involve our students' parents but to also engage them in the teaching and learning process. We offer parent shadowing, open house events, parent-teacher conferences, parent support days, and other events to support parental engagement at Johnnie Carr Middle School. We encourage parents to check their child's PowerSchool, teachers' communication apps, Johnnie Carr social media and web pages. Each student has a CLEVER account that has free links to support teaching and learning in the classroom.
