Dr. Donna Palmore is honored to serve as the faculty advisor for the Student-2-Student Club at Floyd Middle Magnet School. With a deep respect for the sacrifices and unique experiences of military families, Dr. Palmore is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community within the school.

Having worked with many military families over the course of her career, Dr. Palmore understands the challenges and rewards associated with this lifestyle. These experiences have fueled her passion for supporting military-connected students and creating a sense of belonging for them within the school environment.  As a seasoned educator with over a decade of experience in middle school education, Dr. Palmore brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her role as the club advisor. Her commitment to student welfare extends beyond academic success, focusing on the social and emotional well-being of military-affiliated students.

Dr. Palmore actively collaborates with school counselors, other administrators, and community organizations to develop programs and initiatives that cater specifically to the needs of military families. Whether it's organizing peer support groups, hosting informational sessions with other educators, or arranging events that celebrate the diverse cultures within military communities, Dr. Palmore is dedicated to ensuring that every student feels valued and supported.

Under her guidance, the Military Families Club has become a safe space for students to connect, share experiences, and participate in activities that celebrate the unique backgrounds of military families. Dr. Palmore encourages club members to engage in community service projects, build friendships, and develop leadership skills, empowering them to thrive both academically and socially.

Outside of her role as a club advisor, Dr. Palmore enjoys spending time with her family, cruising, and volunteering with local organizations that support military families.
