Montgomery County is participating in Alabama’s 19th Annual Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday weekend from beginning on Friday, July 19 through through Sunday, July 21, 2024.
Back-to-school Sales Tax Holiday Weekend is the perfect time for families to stock up on school supplies, uniforms, and other necessities. Eligible items include:
certain types of clothing at $100 or less per item
computers, software, or computer supplies at $750 or less per purchase
certain school supplies at $50 or less per item
certain types of books at $30 or less per item
