Montgomery Public Schools' ACCESS/Virtual Program is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year through May 30, 2025. The program is open to all students in grades 9-12 who are on track to graduate with their cohort and have passed all coursework. The MPS ACCESS/Virtual Program utilizes a flexible learning model where students can complete required coursework online, in place of a traditional classroom setting.

The MPS Virtual Program is part of a statewide initiative to provide students with an alternative to the face-to-face classroom environment. Classes are conducted entirely online in conjunction with the state’s ACCESS program, which was created by the Alabama State Department of Education. Students will be provided with Chromebooks for instructional use.

Student Eligibility Requirements:
• Must reside in Montgomery County and be enrolled in a Montgomery Public Schools traditional high school as a rising 9th-12th grader
• Be on track to graduate with their cohort (meeting the minimum required Carnegie units for their grade level)
• Accumulate no more than six unexcused, full-day absences during the current academic year
• Have passed all classes during the previous academic year
• Have consistent, daily access to the internet at home
• Have personal transportation to the virtual site (Note: Transportation is not provided)
• Meet all other requirements for enrollment in Montgomery Public Schools

Returning students in ACCESS/Virtual School Program must update existing student information. New students must register with their zoned schools and complete the online application.
