Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School’s Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society will host a special Veterans Luncheon in partnership with Martha’s Place Buffet and Catering on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thanks to student-led fundraising efforts, the Rho Kappa Honor Society will sponsor meals for 102 local veterans as a way to honor and thank them for their service. Student members will be present at the luncheon to welcome guests, serve as hosts, and hand-deliver personalized thank-you cards to each veteran in attendance.
Local media is invited to attend and cover this uplifting community event. Rho Kappa student leaders will be available for interviews to share what this project means to them and why honoring veterans is so important.
