Our Office of Family and Parental Engagement is hosting an Autism Parent Informational Meeting to support and inform families of students with autism. This meeting will provide valuable resources, strategies, and guidance for parents navigating the journey with their child. MPS ACCESS/Virtual Program will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year through May 30th. The program is open to all students in grades 9-12 who are on track to graduate with their cohort and have passed all coursework. The MPS ACCESS/Virtual Program utilizes a flexible learning model where students can take all the coursework that is required in a traditional classroom setting, online. Alabama State University’s “Read and Rise” initiative wrapped up on a high note with visits to Dalraida Elementary, MacMillan International Academy, and Morningview Elementary! In celebration of “Read Across America Week" last week, ASU was thrilled to read to our bright students and inspire a love for books and stories.
