Pre-registration for the 2025-2026 Montgomery Public Schools Pre-K program is now OPEN! Parents and guardians are encouraged to begin the pre-registration process as soon as possible.Pre-registration is now open and can be completed entirely online at https://www.mps.k12.al.us/o/mps/page/prek .
Acceptance emails will be sent to parents on March 15, 2025. To complete registration, parents must respond to the acceptance email by April 7, 2025. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot in the pre-k program. Children who are not selected initially will remain in the applicant pool until space becomes available. Applications will continue to be accepted after the deadline, and children from the waiting list will be offered a spot if a vacancy arises.
Required Documents for Pre-Registration:
A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
One (1) proof of residence (e.g., a current utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement—cell phone and cable bills are not acceptable).
A copy of the parent's state-issued ID.
Your child’s updated immunization record.
Social Security card (optional but recommended to expedite the process).
