Montgomery County Board of Education Announces Initial Interview Schedule for 2025 Superintendent Candidates
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montgomery County Board of Education (MCBOE) is pleased to announce the initial interview schedule for the six finalists for the Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) superintendent position.
The MCBOE will conduct public interviews on March 5 and 6 at the MPS Leadership Center, located at 632 South Union Street. The interview schedule is as follows:

Dr. Angela Whitelaw – Deputy Superintendent, Memphis-Shelby County Public Schools, TN | 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Dr. Harold Wright – Deputy Superintendent of Achievement and Leadership, Fort Worth Independent School District, TX | 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Dr. Barbara Lashley – Deputy Superintendent, Rome City Schools, GA | 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Dr. Constance Evelyn – Former Superintendent, Valley Stream 13 School District, NY | 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Scott Schneider – Chief of Schools, Duval County Public Schools, FL | 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Dr. Zickeyous Byrd – Former Superintendent, Selma City Public Schools, AL | 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
All interviews are open to the public but will not be live-streamed.
