Montgomery Public Schools will host our district-wide Kindergarten Registration Kick-off Day on Tuesday, May 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., open to all students zoned for MPS elementary schools. This early registration opportunity allows parents of upcoming kindergarteners to submit their registration requirements ahead of time, ensuring a smooth transition into the school environment.
To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2015. Parents can register their children in person at the school their child is zoned for or online. This early registration period provides numerous benefits for families, including a smoother transition into the school environment, allowing parents and children to familiarize themselves with the school and meet school staff.
We encourage all eligible families to participate in Kindergarten Pre-Registration Day to secure their child's spot for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
