Montgomery Public Schools invites the community to our annual "State of the Schools" with Superintendent Dr. Melvin J. Brown and the Montgomery County Board of Education on Thursday, September 19, at Carver High School Auditorium, beginning at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
MPS State of the Schools event provides an opportunity for community members to engage with the leaders shaping our district's educational landscape and insights into the work being done to enhance educational opportunities for all students.
Dr. Melvin J. Brown will present on the future of Montgomery Public Schools, outlining the district's dedication to student success and community engagement highlighting:
Academic Progress: A comprehensive overview of student performance across various metrics and MPS focuses on elevating proficiency levels within all grade levels.
District-Wide Improvements: Highlight programs and initiatives designed to enhance learning experiences for all students.
Community Engagement: An emphasis on fostering strong partnerships between MPS and the community, highlighting collaborative efforts to support student success.
MPS Portrait of a Graduate: A vision for all MPS graduates, outlining the essential skills and attributes they will possess to thrive in the 21st century.
