Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) is inviting all members of the community to participate in shaping the future of education in Montgomery. As part of the search for a new superintendent, MPS has launched a Superintendent Search Feedback Survey (https://hyasurvey.com/Montgomery) to gather valuable input from parents, students, staff, and stakeholders about the qualities, skills, and priorities they believe the next superintendent should possess.
"We are committed to ensuring this important decision reflects the voices and perspectives of the Montgomery community," said Arica Smith, Board President of Montgomery County Board of Education. "The feedback we receive will help us identify the leadership qualities needed to guide our district toward success and meet the needs of our students, families, and educators."
The survey is now available online and will remain open until February 7, 2025. Community members are encouraged to share their thoughts on what attributes and experiences are most important for the district’s next leader. Topics include:
Vision and leadership skills
Experience in improving student outcomes
Commitment to equity and inclusion
Engagement with the community and stakeholders
MPS is eager from all community members as we work together to find the best leader for our school district.
