Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) will be offering comprehensive Summer Learning Academies from June 9 - July 3, 2025. Our summer learning programs are designed to provide students with engaging and enriching educational experiences during the summer break, aimed at fostering academic growth, social-emotional development, and preparing students for a successful school year ahead.
This year's programs will offer a wide variety of programs and activities that allow students to explore new interests, develop essential skills in math, STEM, literacy, etc. In addition, high school students will have the opportunity to prepare for the ACT, AP Calculus and AP Statistics through specialized prep courses designed for upcoming 10th and 12th graders. These programs are focused on strengthening test-taking skills and boosting academic confidence.
Program Benefits

This K-12 program ensures continuity of learning, strengthens core content understanding, and helps minimize the impact of summer learning loss. By participating, students will be more engaged, motivated, and ready to succeed when the new academic year begins.

Additional Program Details:
Transportation Services: Free transportation is available for eligible students in elementary and middle school who meet academic benchmarks or promotion requirements.
Student Nutritional Services: Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students enrolled in a summer program, ensuring that every participant has access to nutritious meals during their educational experience.
