Carver Elementary students in Mrs. Smith's third-grade class and Ms. Avera's fourth-grade class are bringing more beauty to the school’s campus while learning all about gardening and plants! Fourth-grade students reviewed life cycles and the greenhouse effect while learning how to care for indoor plants. Meanwhile, the third graders reinforced the life cycle of a plant and learned how to transplant and care for outdoor plants. Also, the school now has sun-thriving annual chrysanthemums that match the school colors! #STEM #TheresMorewithMPS

Garrett teachers and students wore their best tie-dye to celebrate International Day of Peace last week. They promoted and encouraged peace among all Gators. Today, as we celebrate National Good Neighbor Day, let's model these students by helping create a greater understanding and concern for others. Let's develop values in children by giving them a tradition of caring. #BeAGoodNeighbor #Peace #TheresMorewithMPS
